Corporate and Industrial Narration
Corporate narration is used to communicate both internally within the company and externally. It usually focuses on a company’s image, mission, and values. Corporate narration is different from commercial voiceover because it isn’t directly attempting to sell a product or service. Using powerful imagery, voice over, and music, a corporate narrative fulfills at least one of these roles:
Inspires the Audience
Inspires the audience by sharing the company’s history, mission, and/or accomplishments.
Tells the Story
Tells the story of a company’s brand and what sets it apart from others like it.
Builds Community
Builds community by sharing a corporate culture that makes employees feel part of something special.
Builds Trust in the Brand
Builds trust and confidence in the brand and in the direction the company is headed.
Builds Excitement
Builds excitement through telling the story of what the company has achieved by tracing its journey from its roots, to its recent achievements, to its vision for the future.
Shows Why
Shows why the company does what they do and what it means for their customers, employees, and stakeholders.
