My rates vary depending on the type and length of project as well as usage terms. For voiceover, I refer to the industry standard Global Voice Academy (GVAA) rate guide.
Video production ranges from about $200 to $2,800 and depends on the above factors as well as whether or not video includes professional voiceover narration.

* Captions are permanently embedded in the video and do not turn off. You can always request no captions or the final video both captioned and not captioned.
All voiceovers and videos come with a commercial license. This means you can use your voice file or video in public-facing, organic (unpaid) media marketing. In other words, anything you have access to for free without paying for an ad. All music used in your video as well as any stock images also come with a commercial license.
If you want to use your video in paid advertising channels (i.e. Facebook or Instagram ads, TV or radio broadcast), there is an additional usage fee for broadcast rights. Please let me know in advance if you think you may need broadcast rights, as it will determine what music and image assets I use. Also, if you plan to use your video on a monetized YouTube channel, there will be an additional usage fee.
Yes, just fill out the contact form and let me know what you need and when you need it by. I can usually provide a free audition (around 30 seconds of material) to suit your timeline. The audition may not be used in any way except to decide whether to move forward with Vanessa Jones Voices.
Please fill out the “contact” form with your project needs. I will respond with an audition, if requested, or a custom quote as soon as I can. Once project details are all set, I will invoice you for 50% of the payment up front and then the rest upon project delivery and approval.
For voiceovers under 500 words, you can expect a 24-48hr. turnaround once we have agreed on the project details. Please add a day for each additional 500 words. Videos take between one to six weeks to complete depending on complexity.

The use of Vanessa Jones Voices files, recordings, or performance is strictly for the purposes of those specified in the initial agreement and may never include use for creation of synthetic or “cloned” voices or for machine learning. Additionally, client may not sell or transfer ownership to any third party for purposes of using the files for Artificial Intelligence.
Unless client requests no captions, captions are always embedded in the video and can be customized for size, color, style, and font. Captions cannot be turned off once added to the video. Upon request, I am happy to provide a version with captions and a version without captions at no extra charge.
All raw footage shot by Vanessa Jones Voices is the property of Vanessa Jones Voices. Footage shot for a particular video may only be used in that specific video unless client purchases an additional video or social media package.
Yes, all useable footage will go into long-term storage and can always be re-purposed.
Your script/story is completely original as is any footage that I film. Stock video footage, music, and scenes or characters used in animated explainer videos may be used in other videos. (Animated scenes are often built on a basic template and tailored to reflect brand colors, etc).
As part of the agreement between VJV and client, VJV retains the right to use the video in whole or in part in my social media marketing and portfolio materials. This may include posting your video or a compilation video including various clips of my work on social media, maintaining a public playlist of my work on my YouTube channel, including your video in my website portfolio, or sending a link to your video to prospective clients as a work sample. I may also use B-roll footage I have taken as stock imagery for purposes of other videos. VJV will never use your video footage to slander or harm you and will always ask for permission to use any footage outside the scope of this basic agreement.
